Semiconductor Packaging Plant
INFORMATION
Project:Semiconductor Packaging Plant
Location:Taiwan
Description:In this semiconductor packaging plant, the production floor required a high-clearance slab design to accommodate large equipment. Conventional steel pipe shores could only support slabs up to 4 m, which was below the project’s required height and load. Sucoot provided its Ring Lock heavy-duty shoring towers, each with a 4-leg capacity of over 72 tons, ensuring safe and stable slab support for elevated casting operations.
Compared with other brands that require denser shoring layouts, Sucoot’s system delivers higher load capacity with fewer towers, reducing material and labor costs. The wider spacing between towers also improves on-site accessibility, allowing forklifts and workers to move freely beneath the slab for parallel operations — enhancing overall construction efficiency and safety.
Challenges
01
The high-clearance slab exceeded the safe working height of standard steel pipe shores.
02
Heavy slab loads required strong and stable vertical support.
03
Dense shoring layouts could obstruct movement and slow down other site operations.
Sucoot's Solutions
01
Adopted Sucoot’s heavy-duty Ring Lock Shoring System, capable of supporting 72 tons per 4-leg tower.
02
Optimized tower spacing to reduce material use and maintain open working space.
03
Achieved safe, efficient, and cost-effective slab casting under high structural loads.
