Taipei Music Center
INFORMATION
Project:Taipei Music Center
Location:Taiwan, Taipei
Description:The Taipei Music Center, designed by Jesse A. Reiser and Nanako Umemoto, features complex postmodern architecture requiring precise and safe temporary support. Sucoot provided its EN 12810-1–compliant 1.8 m heavy-duty Ring Lock System, capable of supporting at least 72 tons per four legs. Using the Ground-Assembled Lifting Method, the 20 m-high platform was erected in just three days with only six to seven workers per day — achieving exceptional safety, speed, and cost efficiency.
Challenges
01
Complex architectural design with irregular geometries and high ceilings (20 m support height).
02
Tight construction schedule within a confined interior space.
03
Need for a safe erection method minimizing work-at-height risks.
Sucoot's Solutions
01
Used the Ground-Assembled Lifting Method to ensure safe and efficient erection entirely from ground level.
02
Completed full system installation within three days with minimal manpower, ensuring both safety and productivity.
