Mayday Concert – Pyramid Stage Structure
INFORMATION
Project:Mayday Concert – Pyramid Stage Structure
Location:Taiwan
Description:For the Mayday Pyramid Concert Stage, Sucoot provided a custom-engineered Ring Lock Scaffolding System to support one of Taiwan’s most ambitious concert stage constructions. Breaking away from traditional square layouts, the stage adopted a pyramid-shaped design with suspended platforms and heavy loads from large-scale audio, LED, and lighting systems — posing a significant challenge to both flexibility and structural strength.
The pyramid stage measured 52.9 meters wide and 26 meters high, featuring 154 central LED panels surrounded by 312 color screens, and included two equilateral triangular extended platforms projecting into the audience area. The unique structure required precise structural analysis by professional engineers using computer simulation to ensure stability and safety.
Sucoot’s Ring Lock Scaffolding System delivered the perfect balance of flexibility, strength, and precision, providing solid support for the innovative stage design and ensuring flawless performance execution.
